Maggie Doyne created the BlinkNow Foundation with her Co-founder Tope Malla to sustain grow and support Kopila Valley Childrens Home and School in Nepal and to serve as a vehicle to share her ideas with young people especially children in the US. At age nineteen she used her babysitting money and worked with the local community to build a home for orphaned children in war-torn Nepal. In 2010 she and her team opened a school for five hundred of the regions most impoverished children.

She started out volunteering in India but soon found herself in Nepal where a recent civil war had left thousands of orphans. New Jersey native Maggie Doyne was age 18 when she arrived in Nepal 19 when she had co-founded the BlinkNow Foundation nonprofit to support children in the district of Surkhet and by 25 she had become a mother to 40 children. Maggie Doyne graduated high school in Mendham New Jersey and left on a gap year of travel abroad.
